STEIN DAY // LAGER FEST
our festival celebrating everything we enjoy about lagerbier
On Saturday, September 29th our Second Annual Stein Day is back. Tons of Lagerbier, live music, local food vendors, glassblowing, outdoor games, and more!
Like last year, Stein Day is our lager festival celebrating everything we enjoy about these nuanced easy-drinking lagerbiers. From 12PM - 10PM enjoy an array of lagers brewed with tradition-in-mind, but with new-age flair. This event is open to the public, but purchase a ticket below to secure a limited edition glass and three beer tokens to fill your new mug with lagerbier. All pours subsequently after are $4.
A $20 TICKET gets you:
(1) A limited edition 10oz Stein Day Glass
(2) Three beer tokens for 10oz pours
Three of our favorite lagerbiers make a reappearance, all available by the pint or in the 10oz glass, some may make appearances in cans ;) (more information about this coming soon)
Atmospheric Changes (Kolsch) (4.9%)
Opto Pils (German-Style Pilsner) (4.9%)
Everything All The Time (Helles) (5.0%)
'To Be Named' (Marzen) (5.5%)
Alongside these lagers we will have some of our favorite hoppy beers and a variety of other ales available in 10oz or 16oz pours!
101 Baltimore will be serving up traditional German style foods including a variety of pretzels, sausages, kraut, and more!
Food will be available from 1PM - 6PM and will be stationed all around the festival.
For more details on the type of food they specialize in follow this link.
In German & Austrian fashion, our patio will be graced with traditional polka music.
From 1PM - 5PM, Die Immergrun Musikanten, a quartet polka band from Pennsylvania will be playing on our patio stage bringing the Oktoberfest vibes.
For more details on the band, follow this link.
Throughout the duration of the festival, our friends at McFadden Art and Glass will be presenting an opportunity to create your own glassware in their mobile glassblowing studio from 1PM - 6PM.
The MAG crew will be walking customers through the glassblowing process allowing you to make a variety of glass items such as cocktail glasses, shot glasses, ornaments, pint glasses, etc. Glassblowing is first-come first-serve, we recommend arriving early, putting your name in, and then grab a beer & food. The cost per session ranges from $20 - $40 depending on the piece you choose to make.
Lastly, as always, our festival will have opportunities to play ping-pong, corn-hole, fussball, and more!
More details will be announced in the weeks and months leading up to the event. See you in September! #slowbeer
